Very tasteful and absolutely spotless…

“We stayed here for 2 nights in room 4, and could not fault it. Paul and Sharon are so friendly, as is Megs the dog! It was great having a private decking area to sit in the sun with a bottle of wine. The whole place was very tasteful and absolutely spotless. We are both vegetarian, but there was a great choice at breakfast, and this was absolutely delicious. It was handy having a fridge in the room with a small flask of fresh milk rather than the awful little pods that are normally provided. I know Sharon and Paul have only been here for a short while, but they seem to have settled in straight away, and I hope they have great success as they thoroughly deserve it. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here.”

Would really recommend this place…

“Love this area of England. Lovely well furnished rooms. I like the fact you stay away from main house with own entrance so if you’re late back that’s easier. Breakfast made to order and very yummy! Sharon the host is really friendly and can’t help you enough. She even offered us a meal as we were arriving late. Would really recommend this place a great hideaway from the hustle and bustle. Also nice walk on blue anchor beach and short walk to Dunster castle.”

Great hospitality and guidance on our recent visit…

“Thank you Sharon and Paul for the great hospitality and guidance on our recent visit to Steps Farmhouse. We came for a weekend of cycling and it was great. Loads of good routes that Paul helped with. Even a shed for storing the bikes and doing general maintenance along with a hose pipe for washing the bikes down was available. Great breakfast and the offer of a beef stew one night was most welcome. Would thoroughly recommend the area for cycling and the hospitality and local knowledge from Steps Farmhouse, Sharon and Paul thanks. Oh and great comfy beds for tired limbs.”

The grounds of the B&B are stunning and well kept…

“Just returned from Steps Farmhouse after a 3 night stay with the family, we booked last minute literately on the day we were arriving, Think we were lucky as we went out of season, we arrived late afternoon, to be welcomed from the owner who showed us to our room and offered us fresh milk for coffee, Each of the room has independent access, and ensuite, TV, and coffee tea and biscuits. The grounds of the B&B are stunning and very well kept. Breakfast is in the main building, Oh what a choose, a good selection of cereal, fruit juices, home made jam , You could choose what breakfast you wanted, from a cooked breakfast to cereals and croissants. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for the host, Thank You. Bilbrook is a little Hamlet which access to surrounding areas is very easy, 10 minutes drive you are in Minehead, and there are plenty of pubs to eat in all the different villages. The host have a good knowledge of the area and will advice the best places to eat. Free WIFI available in rooms. This was our first ever visit to the area and we will be back.”

“Brilliant accommodation, beautiful gardens, very dog friendly, close to loads of dog friendly beaches and places to visit. Delicious cooked breakfast with huge selection of extras including cereals, yoghurts, fruit juices, home made jams etc. Rooms were immaculate and as we hired two rooms we had the benefit of our own decking and seating area. Large selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate and biscuits in your room together with tv and free wi fi. Strongly recommend a visit.”
